Corporate life in the UK
Suit and tie in some pretty large organisations...
ASDA / Walmart: Either they were taking the mick on my birthday, or trying to tell me something. Thanks James for the "princess" cake and tiara!
Walking the 3 Peaks with the team (and little Oscar).
Morrisons: In charge of the project office at Gain Lane.
Leeds Beckett University: A team-building exercise at Langdale in the Lake District with students. This photo of mine made it to the cover of Project Manager Today.
Woodlands, Leeds
Managing HR, IT and safety. Woodlands makes garden sheds and cabins, and owns a large DIY store in Horsforth. They trade as Tiger Sheds online.
Cold factory: This was taken on a Friday afternoon in January 2013.
Cycling to work: The 6am start and finish in winter means it's dark all the way. The canal towpath can be treacherous when icy, and there were no showers at work. However, photography in the dark without a tripod can be creative, and here I've created some 'Turner-esque' images.

Characters: Elvis has a few friends who hang around his workbench.
Red Epic: yes, I know, I noticed the camera before anything else. A production company took over a work area one afternoon to shoot some clips for a promotional video.
The office: The safety office, no, the IT office, no, the HR office? Actually all three! Being senior services manager was interesting...
Making instructions: a new knowledge management technique? Pictures worth a thousand words, and far more useful on the factory floor. I took photos, used Corel 'edge detect', convert to monochrome, fill and DTP in Word.

Academic prize: Mark Laurillard awarding our Academic prize to Jo in October 2012
Improvement: A great result. Rejuvenating the DIY store took 6 months, but the project paid for itself before it was complete and turnover was up 25% by the end. Hard work though.
Software development: Requirements analysis, design, development and implementation of a bonus and product management records system for Woodlands. Here's a screen shot taken in the production manager's office.
Old Broadcasting House: Our offices in 2011 to 2012.
Consulting to government:
Here Seaparo is leading a skills elicitation workshop at the Department of Public Enterprises.

Johannesburg: Office and study.

Elsewhere in the world
Projects and work around the globe.
Dublin 2005: Too many bumpy flights across the Irish Sea! Dublin was fantastic and worth the ride, but I never enjoyed shuttling between work in Dublin and studies in Leeds.
Damelin 2003: Teaching a seven month project management diploma to professionals. This lead to teaching the University of Cambridge's Professional Project Management Certificate.
Telekom Malaysia: The developers hard at work at night in Kuala Lumpur on the Telekom Malaysia project.
Tinderbox: Delivering transactional websites for banks and online retailers.
SABMiller: Coding for a beer company... What could be better? I was writing in VB and SQL, then working on data modelling for enterprise architecture. This was taken from the company newsletter, with the fleet system team.
Incorporated Technologies:
My first business. This was taken in the early 1990s in the company training room above a factory in Delarey.
Kimberley:
Sorting machines at Bultfontein diamond mine, and a view from the roof.
